Update on the Gambia Village School Project

The second Malcom Smart classroom is now up and running and we are pleased to report that 35 more children have been enrolled for the 2014/2015 school year. This means the HAPC Gambia Children Village school now has a total of 135 students and we now have Nursery ONE, TWO and THREE.
Matarr Jallow and Halimatour Ceesay have now been trained in the treatment of malaria by the International Director of Human Development Society Mr. Kyle Omaolain, arranged and sponsored by HAPC (UK) representative Druve Patel. As a result the school will now provide children with free medication for malaria related illness. The school will also provide this service to the community as a whole at an affordable cost.
The construction work being done on the outdoor kitchen is progressing well quickly and we hope to see it completed by September 2014, just in time for the new school term.
